Hair Growth Tips

1. Use a moisturizing detangling conditioning shampoo. I love the cream of nature line best and it smell good.

2. Keep your ends moisturized daily.

3. Avoid using heat for daily styling.

4. Brush w/ boar bristle brush

5. Don't over-relax your hair. stretch 8+ weeks

6. Massage your scalp.

7. Deep condition at least once a month.

8. Trim your ends every 6-8 weeks or as needed. LISTEN to your hairs need

9. Take a Multi-vitamin.

10. Wrap your hair with a satin scarf or sleep on a satin pillow case.

11.Try to wear a hat when you're in the sun.

12. Put conditioner on your hair before you go swimming.

13. Rinse and condition your hair after swimming. as soon as you get home wash & deepcondition your hair

14. Exercise 30 minutes per day at least 3 times a week.

15. Be positive and Happy :-D

16. Eat

17. Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.

18. Eat fresh fruits and raw vegetables daily.

19. Never use rubber bands on your hair.

20. Wear your hair up whenever possible. (Buns are great)

21. Avoid bleach, hair dyes with mettalic salts and henna.

22. Don't relax your hair right after taking out braids.

23. Don't relax and dye your hair on the same day or within the same week. *****Try and wait  1-2 months*****
24. Don't leave in hair weaves for more than two months.

25. Always use a protective oil before blow drying or pressing.

26. Air dry rather than blow dry hair.

27. Only use wide-tooth combs.

28. Don't allow braids to be pulled too tightly.

29. Relax your hair line last.

30. Braid, Twist or let your hair be sometimes

2014 Hair growth challenge!

Hello!!! I know I've been MIA since 2011... I'm bacccck!!! I'm finally ready to take my hair to the next level. For the next year and a half I will be on the following healthy hair regimen.  I will come on here and do a hair update every 3-7 months... I will purchase all of my conditioners on sale from ROSS, T J Max, and Marshall(I will keep you all up to date) Wash and Deep Condition every 5-7 days with the occasional co-wash as needed Wear a protective hairstyle for at least 5 days per week.(my current regimen consist of wash 'n go only)  Take the hairfinity hair and nails vitamins 7days per week. If I run out of vitamins I will take my one a day petit vitamin until I receive my new batch via mail. Since becoming natural I have not been properly taking good care of my hair.
